NYDP is…

NYDP is a hybrid dance company in New York City that creates opportunity and bridges divides in dance. Our dancers are freelance professionals and advanced pre-professionals taking the next step in their careers as company members and apprentices. Our trainees work with the best of teachers available from our world class faculty and are also challenged to work with the company. All NYDP dancers get career advising and support as well as individualized mentoring.

Our repertory encompasses traditional ballets and new contemporary commissions by established and emerging choreographers with diverse backgrounds and interests. Our frequent performances and free showcases in NYC and on tour display the diversity of our repertory and versatility of our dancers, while educating and entertaining audiences of all ages.

Our summer intensives will push you technically, artistically, and you will grow as a dancer and person. New York Dance Project offers a unique and challenging environment that will get you to the next level. We are like a second company to all companies, working with your future in mind!

Come have the professional concert dance experience in New York City!
